Blair on his trip to the Congo

Blair on his trip to the Congo

Blair is known as the savior of the Pittsburgh Penguins. Well, I guess Mario and Jaromir had a little to do with it, but if you ask Blair it was all him. One of the streakiest competitor’s, Blair often takes charge in competition play. Look out for the keg beer however, that is Blair’s Kryptonite. Case in point the 2005 Mid Summer Classic when Blair rolled out 6 consecutive wins only to bow out early in the playoffs.

An original 4 member, Blair was one of the most dominate players of the early years of Sega Hockey lore. It was during this time he was believed to have ‘Blown his load”. In top gun terms….he lost the edge. Whatever you want to call it, since his graduation from LHS he has only held claim to the belt for a short period of time in the summer of 2002. But do not underestimate this legend of the ice. Blair has gone to extreme lengths to get his scoring touch back. In 2004 he intentional shattered his ankle so he could spend countless hours practicing. And if that wasn’t enough, his six grade class now has and early-bird option ‘B-Button 101’. Sooner or later this dedication (otherwise known as pure insanity) will put Mr. Blair back on top.
