Smaller Segathon events have always existed. They are not the level of play of a Segathon or it’s smaller summer cousin the POP Tourney. They are not even to level of Ryder Cup. More along the lines of the Busch League Games without branding.
In 2020 due to a Global Pandemic and also being middle aged with lots of responsibilities getting a dozen dudes to show up for a tourney proves difficult.

Gopher Tailgate – Games played at the University of Minnesota in a van by generator. The same van we used to TP houses in our youth. Many games have been played but no official stats have been logged.
Segathon Pandemic Duel – 2018 Champ and 2019 Champ met in early in Pandemic to play a best of 7 game series on the 2018 Champs Birthday in his garage. Masks were worn, beers were drank and swear words blaming Moms happened.
Teachers Union Conferences – The contingent of “The Union” held games in Tecmo Kris’s garage. Streamed on the Twitch
Vegas Invitational – Comped room at the Mandalay Bay, NHL 95, Steaks with Flavor Flav
Dale Hawerchuk Memorial Invitational – one of the greats of our youth passed away so we held an invitational in a 100 degree garage with Mosquitos. Neighbors thought a pig was being murdered but it was just us doing the 100 yard dash in Track and Field
Golden Shower Invitational – First 2021 Match at Brazilian Joes, Full stats were kept, even player goals. Tecmo Kris Streamed the whole thing, and if you scored a pic of Swayze came on stream.
