Brandon ‘Butch’ Lemiux

Team: St. Louis Blues

StLouis_BluesFirst it was the world calf-off championships, then it was back yard wiffle ball, now Brandon can lay claim to surpassing his brother in yet another category by winning the 2005 Pan O Prog Championship. Another generation Y competitor, Brandon was the first player outside of the Lakeville Class of 1997 to lay claim to a championship. And until the 2006 segathon was halted, Brandon was still in contention with a grueling sibling rivalry match in his future.

brandonchairA late bloomer, Brandon always sat on the couch in admiration of the original four-founders when they took to combat in his very own basement. A ‘warm-up’ game for his older brother Blair, Brandon was not taken seriously until he became the first to complete an entire 82 game season.

That experience has proven to be a catapult in this young man’s career! Shortly after winning the 2005 Pan-O-Prog Championship Brandon embarked on a grueling training regiment and dropped almost 100 lbs! This fierce new look, and fiery new attitude can be seen on competition day…..but not in the form of drinking competitiveness. Actually Brandon nearly escaped being stripped of his first ever trophy due to lack of intoxication. After a round table discussion Brandon was given the trophy with an asterisk next to it in the record books. Why was he allowed to keep the Trophy?………Nobody else was sober enough to remember.
